They are both Kosher and Halal, and vegan. 1. Tapioca Capsules have only two ingredients: Modified Tapioca Starch from cassava root and Purified Water. 2. Vegetable Cellulose HPMC capsules have only two ingredients: HPMC and purified water. HPMC -- Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose -- is derived from vegetable cellulose.
